CHRISTMAS GIFTS

at

Nottingham City Hospital

December 2016

The Danielle's Flutterbyes team delivered Christmas presents to those receiving treatment on the renal and dialysis wards at the Nottingham city hospital. All we asked for in return, were smiles, which we got..and those smile were truly special.

Kidney failure doesn't care about Christmas, people still have to dialyse regardless and this disease is relentless. No Christmas parties, a restricted diet, and dialysing to stay alive. Yet despite this people were smiling and engaging. Thanks to the staff at the hospital for helping us spread a little cheer over the Christmas period, thanks to all those who have supported us to make this possible and a special thanks to Terri Ellwood for helping us organise this event.
